Spring is just around the corner and Cara our Chocolate Labradoor has given birth to her first litter of puppies. four dogs and a bitch arrived without any complications one night in february. They are seen here sleeping soundly next to the Rayburn.

Our ewes were lambing at the same time and Cara got used to the occasional addition to her litter when we brought in small lambs to be warmed up.

Work also began in ernest on preparing the vegetable plots
