The steeply sloping land at Panniers Farm has been farmed for centuries and we carry on the tradition with our small flock of Suffolk sheep, our rare breed Berk pigs and our work restoring the ancient hillside orchards. The use of animals to manage areas of marginal farmland and scrub is known as Conservation Grazing and we have seen the benefits with a proliforation of wild flowers - 34 different varieties have be catalogued on the hill.

It is our aim to produce conservation grade meat whilst maintaining a semi-natural habital where wild flowers, birds and wildlife in general are protected. To learn more about our farm click on the pictures below.
