This is a wonderful place to come and relax. Whether you explore the wind swept limestone scenery of the Mendip Hills and find refreshment at a village pub, or you discover the Somerset Levels and Moors to the south which is the largest area of lowland grazing marsh in England.

Here you will find Birds, butterflies and wildlife in abundance including wintering wildfowl, birds of reedbed and flood meadow together with the array of wild flowers thriving on the banks of the rynes.

Fenny Castle Vineyardvines

Follow the progress of the vineyard.
In 2012 we planted Pinot Noir
and Ortega vines on our south facing
slope overlooking the levels.
Today we have award winning Ortega and Pinot Noir Rosé still wines and our long awaited English Sparkling Rosé wine

Panniers Farm Cottage - book a break here and get away from the bustle of life. Walk on the levels, visit the nearby RSPB reserves, visit numerous National Trust properties and above all enjoy the many traditional and not-so traditional pubs and restaurants in this area. Somerset has an interesting food and drinks culture with plenty of local producers close by. Don't forget our own orchard blend ciders from Tor Cider Company and wine from Fenny Castle Vineyard.
